Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas

On July 26, 1999, the Indian Army freed Bharat Land from the clutches of intruders by successfully executing 'Operation Vijay' during the Kargil war. In memory of this, '26th July 'is now celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas every year.
It is a day to remember those martyrs and to offer their reverence, the Veergati received while protecting the laughing motherland. This day is dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives for our present day.

Background of Kargil War: Kargil war, also known as Kargil conflict, started between Kargil district of Kashmir in 1999 between India and Pakistan in May of 1999.

The reason for this war was a large number of Pakistani soldiers and Pakistan-backed militants entering the Line of Control, the Indo-Pakistani Line of Control, and captured many important mountain peaks, taking control of the road connecting Leh-Ladakh with India. Straining India's position on Siachen-Glacier and creating a threat to our national identity.

In spite of an order that the Indian Army and the Air Force did not cross the Line of Control in this war (more than two months ago, the foreign media had proclaimed this war to the border conflict), they had killed the invaders in their motherland. Freedom has its own value, which is paid by the blood of the heroes.

Their courage was higher than the Himalayas:

In this KARGIL WAR, more than 527 of our valiant warriors and more than 1,300 were injured, most of whom could not even see the 30 spring of their lives. These martyrs performed the highest tradition of valor and sacrifice of the Indian Army, whose donation takes every soldier before the Tricolor.

These ribbons also promised to come back from their families, which they did, but their anticipation was unique. They returned, but in a wooden coffin. She was wrapped in the same tricolor, whom she had raised her defense. In front of the national flag, his head was bowed with respect, the tricolor was sacrificing these sacrifices of the motherland and praising his legend.

Kargil War

After the war, Pakistan had blamed the Kashmiri terrorists for this war, while it was not hidden from anyone that Pakistan was involved in this whole fight. Later, Nawaz Sharif and the top military officers accepted the role of the Pak army directly and indirectly. This war is one of the major influences of the world to be fought on recent highs. The biggest thing is that both countries are endowed with nuclear weapons.

But no war is fought on the strength of weapons, war is fought, there is no shortage of courage, sacrifice, nationalism, and duty of duty and in our Indian youth filled with these emotions.
